Back - To - School Project

Do you still remember the Back-To-School Project I launched here last year and had a second part here? The result of the project was a success, by God’s grace. More than 20 kids received a complete set of good – quality school supplies. They also had a great time during their Jollibee treat.  I did mention that the project didn’t end there because some of the students  were in grade six and some of their parents either have no intentions of sending them to grade 7 (the former 1st Year High School) or simply could not afford to support their high school. It is my desire to be a channel of blessings to these kids so they can continue their schooling. These kids have the brain and talents, they only lack the financial means to continue their studies.  I don’t also have that much to meet all their needs so I am thinking, maybe, there are some people out there who share the same burden for less-privilege kids  and who are willing to share their blessings. Then we can combine our little shares to make it BIG.

So let us start the Back-To-School Project 2013 rolling. Just like last year, the Back-To-School Project 2013 has two purposes:

  1. Giveaway of school supplies for elementary students.
  2. Help the 5 elementary graduates pursue higher education (this is the replacement of the Jollibee treat).

The fund to be raised will be for the following:

  1. School supplies
  2. Uniforms/Shoes
  3. Daily Transportation/Daily Allowance (this is where the monthly pledges will be used)
  4. School Miscellaneous Fees

Donations and pledges can also be a one-time pledge for the year or in monthly basis. The amount is totally up to you. Please don’t feel embarrassed to share your P100s or P50s ($1s). They can go a long way for the kids and they are very much appreciated. Please feel free to share this endeavor to your friends. They too, may be willing to help.

If you have been part of last year’s success, I am praying that you will partner with me again this year ( and hopefully on the years to come ^__^). If you missed the opportunity to be a part last year, you can be this year (and to the years to come).

You may send your donations via PayPal (mylenerabago(at)gmail(dot)com) or through bank deposits. But please let me know the amount and the date you transferred/deposited so I can properly account it.

    1. Hi Ms. Mys,
