Food Trip Friday: Tinolang Manok

  • Sumo

My entry for Food Trip Friday, Tinolang Manok. Notice that there is no leaf? Here, malunggay leaves are not being sold in the market. You can ask from those who have them in their yard for free. Unfortunately, I was not able to ask for some and our own tree has no more leaf ร‚ย ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. its always in our list…looks delicious and we loves tinola. kami halos palaging walang dahon, just sayote or papaya lang, wala din kasi dito or hindi ko lang alam saan bilihan! anyway, visiting late from ftf, sorry! have a great week!

  2. Paborito ng mga bagets at ni hubby ang tinola. Sayote ba gamit mo sis? Lately sayote na rin sinsahog ko, yung papayang nabibili dito, mapait ang lasa pag naluto.

  3. yummmmmmmmmmmmmm i can smell it! so nice..makakain ako nyan ng maraming rice. heheehehe ๐Ÿ™‚

    Happy weekend, sis!

  4. we have the same problem here too in Dubai, they seldom sell malunggay leaves so what my mom did, she had a stem taken from Philippines and then re-planted it in our backyard so now we have our own supply of the yummy leaves.

My FTF entry is now up too, hope you check it out. Happy foodtrippin and have a fab weekend.
