Landing a decent and rewarding job here in the Philippines is getting more and more challenging. Most newly graduates settle for the first job available instead of being idle for long in waiting for a job related to their degree. So those who graduated from a management course may not get management jobs while some who are graduates of different course may end up doing management jobs.
I consider myself blessed when it comes to work because God gave me a career that suits my personally and my situation. And though I am receiving less than what I used to earn when I was in Manila, it is still enough to help my parents financially and to sustain our needs here in Bohol. I don’t consider myself better than other developer. As matter of fact, I’m not good. What I am right now and what I have are all God’s blessings and grace.
