A Single Strand Of Hair Matters

  • Sumo

for my eldest daughter, Jyma Sciezka. We often fight recently because of a single hair strand which does not want to lie down with the rest. She does not want to see a single strand of hair up on her head. She wants her hair to be as fixed as possible. She almost bathes her hair with oil just to make all the strands lie down. That’s how vain she is at her age. I don’t know where she got that idea since she always see me with uncombed or clamped hair.

This was taken on the day of her graduation. Noticed her hair? No single strand standing up. She’s the one finished combing her hair because I could not make all the strands down.

My daughter is indeed growing up, and she is growing up too fast. And I could not totally guard her from the influences of other people. But I do pray that I’ll have greater influence in her life than of the people around her. And I am glad that she believes my word more than anyone else. If this continues, I am confident that I’ll never see her with swisher sweet.
