Hubby marked his 28th birthday yesterday. And instead of a motorbike, daughter and I bought him two pairs of footwear as our gift. Though at first, my husband was able to convince my daughter to give him his dreamed motorbike, I was able to persuade my daughter that it is too expensive and we don’t have the budget at the moment. It is not like chinese yoyos which we could purchase anytime and in several quantities.
My husband was with us when we bought the pairs footwear {because he needs to fit them} but still daughter and I wrapped them. We pretended that it was a surprised gift. Daughter enjoyed wrapping the gift though her part was only to cut the scotch tape we need for the wrap.
Gifts need not to be expensive. It is the thought that counts 😀
Very true, its not in the gift you give to others, what important is how heartfully you are giving it. No matter if the gift is worth thousand dollars or just ten dollars, what matters is the love that is attached with the gift.

Kami naman walang nakabalot na kahit ano para sa mga bata, ang nangyayari kasi, humihingi sila ng money (maliit lang naman), sila ang bibili tapos sila ang magbabalot, yun na ang Christmas gift nila. 🙂
