Wish List

  • Sumo

I noticed that as Christmas season approaches, more and more people are getting bold in giving their wish list. I am joining the crowd but not for Christmas. As I said before, I do not encourage my friends to give me gifts during this season as Christmas is not about me but about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I am not the one who deserves a gift but Him who humbled himself to be born in a manger, suffered and died on the cross of Calvary, buried but was risen again after the third.

My wish list is for the coming new member of the family which will tentatively come out on the first week of March. So those who are planning to be part of my wish-come-true, you still so much time to prepare, LOL!

So here are my wishes.

Wooden Crib. I already disposed the one that my daughter used. It was quite bulky and we have no place to store it when we were renting a small place in Quezon City. I saw one in Divisoria and I kind of like it. But when I saw it, I am not yet pregnant. It would be too foolish to convince my husband to buy it that time.

Baby Linens, Comforters & Pillows. I will be needing baby linens but not necessarily from Sferra. I still have few but a bit old already.

Nursing Cover. Since I am a breast-feed advocate, I will definitely breast-feed my second child. I will be needing a nursing cover so I can still breast feed in public places.

Baby Basket and/or Stroller. For the first few weeks, the basket will do since the baby can still fit on it. But as the baby grows bigger, I will be needing a stroller during Worship Service and when we travel.

Baby Clothes. I am asking my friends who give birth this year or last year to lend me their baby clothes. I only bought the new born clothes when I was in Manila couple of week ago but didn’t buy clothes that are for more than 1 month. All of the new born clothes I bought were white just to play safe because I don’t know yet the gender of my second baby.

Actually these are the things I listed in my mind to buy before I give birth. I still have few more months to save for these items. Hopefully, I’ll be able to save for them.

  1. Hi sis, thanks for joining, would you mind posting a little about the giveaway so I can put the url on the official entries? Thanks! Submit mo na lang ang url dun sa post.

  2. Wow! nice Christmas list. For us, we have already secured all of it, some of it was from our eldest son’s belongings. It’s a good thing we were able to secure it nicely (hand-me-downs hehe!).

The only thing about the crib is, it is for toddlers and not for infants so it is too big for Noah so we are still planning on buying one or probably we’ll buy a baby basket so we can sleep everywhere in the house. God bless!

    1. Pinamigay ko na kasi yung mga gamit dati ng baby ko ๐Ÿ™‚ Marami rin kasi nanganak sa church namin after ko. Naiisip ko kaysa nakatago, mas maganda pakinabang ng iba ๐Ÿ™‚ The Lord will provide anyway when the need arise. So I trust that God is on His way to provide for my second child’s necessity ๐Ÿ™‚

      God Bless!
