Time flies so fast! My eldest daughter, Jyma Sciezka, is already 5 years old and the little Jyma is already 3 months. It seems like I just gave birth to them yesterday. Soon they will have their own lives and will leave our custody. They will make their own decisions for themselves from what career path to take and whom to be with for the rest of their lives. But one thing I desire is for them to serve the one and true God. I don’t care if they will remember to give us berry gifts for parents as long as I see them serving the Lord, I will be more than happy.
To help them choose that path of serving the Lord, I am exposing them to the ministry as early as now especially my eldest, Sciezka, who can already understand a little. I allow her to lead the singing in our Sunday School class. I encourage her memorize verses in the Bible and to render song offerings. I also bring her when I conduct Good News classes. That way, she will start loving the work as early as now. Â And when she is old, she will not depart from it 🙂
I’ve only been attending Sunday service at Church for God’s Glory in Dauis for a little more than a month, and I can’t tell you enough how glad I am that I joined a “family.” I’ve also been studying the Bible quite earnestly. So, keep on doing the good job. Certainly, your daughter will love you even more for it when she has grown.
