Epson L200 All-In-One printer is a multi-function printer. It has a copier, scanner and a printer in one. What good about it is its built-in Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS). Epson L200 All-In-One printer has four ink 70 ml ink tanks; Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta. Epson claims that the black ink could yield up to 12,000 prints while 6,500 for the colored. I was not able to prove it because my blank ink was still more than half when it power failed.
The Scanner of Epson L200 All-in-One Printer.
The scanning of document is done in the computer – right click on the Epson L200 on the Devices and Printers window, then click Start Scanning option. There is no option or button on the printer itself for scanning.
The Copier of Epson L200 All-In-One Printer.
The Epson L200 All-In-One Printer has two buttons for copier, one for the black and white and the other for the colored. The printout of the copier is clear, good enough for home and mid-business use. But there is no option where you can set the number of copies you want to produce. Copying is done one at a time unless you need twenty copies in which you can press the copy button for several seconds to produce twenty copies.
The Printing Quality
The printing quality of Epson L200 All-In-One Printer for document is not satisfactory. The printing quality in draft mode is very similar of that of the dot matrix. Even in the normal mode, the printing quality is not that fine and sharp compared to the printing quality of an HP Deskjet 3940. Sometimes, there were ink mess on the print outs. Unfortunately, I was not able to try to print a photo before its power gave up.
Ink of Epson L200 All-In-One Printer
Each bottle of original Epson Ink refill only cost Php 265. Ink bottle of blank ink could print up to 12,000 pages while 6500 pages for the colored, much cheaper than HP inks. And if you are re-filling your HP cartridges (like me ^_^), with this cost, you will save time and effort in frequent refilling. This is the primarily reason why I bought this printer, Â I don’t want being disturbed by frequent refilling because the ink tanks are big.
Overall, Epson L200 All-In-One printer is good enough for my need if only it didn’t have the power problem. But if you are very much particular with the printing quality, I guess you have to think several times before purchasing one.
