Home in country like Philippines which has only two seasons, rainy and summer, missed some house furniture which homes in other countries with four seasons have. One of the home furniture/amenities which could not be found in any home in Philippines {except in the homes in Baguio} is the fireplace mantels. This fixture is not a necessity in any Philippine household because most of the time, the climate is humid. If it is rainy season, the coldness of the atmosphere is not enough to need a fireplace. But sometimes I could not help myself but to wish to experience sitting around the warm a fireplace while the snow is falling outside the house.
