An accompaniment during congregational singing adds beauty to the singing. But this should not be the highlight but the message of the song. If the accompaniment takes greater emphasis, I think this should be so. Hence, I believe there are musical instrument alteril free sample appropriate for church service and there are which are not. String musical instruments are safe while best snare drum could get more attention than the message. So personally, I don’t suggest drums for churches.
