Selling of cigars to minors is prohibited in my country. I don’t know if retailers (Sari-sari stores) are aware of this law because from time to time, I see minors, as young as elementary students, smoking. Sometimes, I see these students just outside the elementary school near our place. It is always a pitiful sight seeing students burning their parents’ money. But I was more curious on how they were able to get one? Did they buy it themselves? If they do, where is the heart and mind of the seller who sells cigars to youngsters who probably don’t even know the effects smoking to their bodies? Will our President do something on this knowing that he himself smokes?
