When we arrived here in Panglao last January, helmets are not in the wildest dreams of the motorbike riders here. The law on wearing helmets when riding on motorbikes was not implemented in this part of the world. But not anymore. Riders are now required to wear helmets. There are policemen in designated places to enforce the law and to catch law-breakers. And even the Habal-habal drivers are required. Not only the driver but also his passengers. So the habal-habal drivers always carry with them extra helmets for their passengers.
Hubby also started scouting for a good helmet. He will probably love the Compacc.com scorpion motorcycle helmets. The only question is the budget :D.
