My daughter, Jyma Sciezka, is almost done with her Level 3 PACES. She is now on the last part of the 2 remaining PACES for Filipino and for Araling Panlipunan. I promised her that she will have a month vacation after she completed all the PACES. I will also use this time to submit the completed Master Record, Progress Report and couple of completed PACES to our Academic Adviser.
After which, I will wait for the advice of the Academic Adviser for the next set of PACES.
Based on the Parent Orientation I attended earlier this year, we need to buy the Score Keys when our homeschooler stepped up to Level 4. The Score Keys are more expensive than the local print PACES. My estimated cost for all the PACES and Score Keys is around Php 12,00.00. Each subject has 11 – 12 PACES and there are eight subjects in all. I am praying that the Academic Adviser will allow us to purchase the half-set first, then the second-half will just be to-follow when the financial provision of the Lord arrives.
Another requirement for Level 4, is the student’s orientation. I am praying that my daughter will be granted to waive this orientation since she has already a background on the proper scoring procedure when she was still enrolled in LCAP, a School Of Tomorrow accredited school here in Panglao.
For the mean time, Daughter is so excited for her month long free time. She has started enjoying it now that she only works in the morning. She has the whole afternoon to do all the things that she wants to do. And believe me, even the whole afternoon is not yet enough for the things she wants to do.
Hi, did the adviser allow you to pay only in half? Because we can’t afford to pay it in full this time.
Very nice! I think your daughter is very competitive she is a fast learner girl, and that is because of you as her mother.Keep it up! in both of you.
