Our church anniversary is fast approaching. It will be on the last Sunday of November. The program will be an evangelistic meeting in the morning then the member’s night in the evening. Everyone is invited to come.
Members are encouraged to invite their neighbors, friend and love ones especially those who haven’t heard the Gospel yet. So we are praying and expecting many visitors to come. Aside from extra chairs, I don’t see any additional church furniture needed. Lord willing, we will have a guest speaker.
I am excited for our church anniversary and I’ll always be. Even when we were still in Quezon City, the church anniversary was always my most awaited event of year followed by the Thanksgiving Day which is usually held on the last Sunday of the year. I’m praying that it will be a victorious church anniversary and many will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
How about you? What is your most awaited event of the year?
Happy Anniversary to your church! I don’t really have an event I look forward to. Onlytimes when our family is together.
We really await for the Christmas and New Year which I really considered to be the best event of the year.
Apart from the holidays. I’m looking forward to our church corporate fasting every start of the year ๐ Believing Him for breakthroughs ๐
Our church had its 25th anniversary just this October and we were the usher for during that time. It was great! The number of attendees I think went more than 500. God is good!
Happy anniversary to your church. Oh wait, Christmas is fast approaching as well.
I love Christmas. It is the most wonderful time of the year for me.
Christmas will always be our fave time of the year. ๐ The kids’ birthday come a close second now.
I look forward to each morning, not just for every event, because it means a day to be thankful for. ๐
So looking forward to Christmas Season!!!My two girls (14 and 16) don’t look at Christmas as a magical season anymore (they have finally figured out who Santa is. My eldest actually saw a receipt of a gift that was supposed to be from Santa when she was 8!), but my 7 year old boy still does!!!
I used to be so excited for Christmas, but this year, the thought makes me sad. It’s my 4th Christmas away from home. =( So, I’m looking forward for our trip to the Philippines next year, can’t hardly wait! By the way, Happy Anniversary!!! =)
Naku, for me all birthdays and anniversaries hehehe! But next month, it’ll be my eldest’s 4th birthday. Visiting from CommEx 10/23.
For me, Christmas is always the best time of the year! ๐
We also celebrate our church’s anniversary in the month of November…anniversary Sunday is on the 18th naman. It’s usually a month-long celebration with lots of activities and I used to participate in the martial arts classes. Kinda miss that… ๐
